LED Books Vault – Privacy Policy

Effective October 10, 2026

This policy explains how LED Books Vault, Lake Eola Dental’s internal QuickBooks backup tool, handles data. It applies only to that tool, not to Lake Eola Dental’s website or patient services.

What data the App accesses

Accounting records in Lake Eola Dental’s own QuickBooks Online company, such as the chart of accounts, customers, vendors, invoices, bills, payments, journal entries, attachments and financial reports. The App requests Accounting access only. It does not access payroll or payments-processing data.

How it is used

Solely to keep backup copies of Lake Eola Dental’s business records and to restore them if records are lost or changed by mistake. The data is not sold, rented, shared for marketing, or used to train AI models.

Where it is stored and how it is protected

  • Backups are stored on a Lake Eola Dental computer and in a cloud storage account controlled by Lake Eola Dental.
  • QuickBooks sign-in tokens and app credentials are kept in the operating system’s encrypted keychain, never in plain files.
  • All communication with Intuit uses encrypted HTTPS connections.
  • Only Lake Eola Dental’s owner and personnel he authorizes can access the backups.
  • The App does not use third-party analytics, advertising or tracking services.

Retention and deletion

Backups are business records kept under Lake Eola Dental’s record-retention practices (generally at least seven years). Disconnecting the App in QuickBooks Online ends its access; stored sign-in tokens are then discarded.
