• What it is

From digital design
to your restoration.

CAD/CAM stands for computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing. Digital records help guide the design of a restoration, which is then fabricated and checked for fit, bite and appearance.

Lake Eola Dental fabricates restorations in-office and offers same-day completion for suitable cases. Dr. Alex Ho first assesses the tooth and your oral health, then explains the restoration, material and timing appropriate for your care. Some cases need additional visits or laboratory work.

• Questions

Clear answers.
Considered care.

Can every crown be completed in one day?

No. Same-day completion is available for suitable cases. Tooth condition, treatment needs, material choice and scheduling may require additional visits or laboratory fabrication. Dr. Ho will explain the expected plan after assessment.

Which restorations can be made in-office?

The appropriate restoration and fabrication method depend on the tooth and treatment plan. Ask Dr. Ho whether the restoration recommended for you can be fabricated in-office.

Does digital fabrication guarantee a perfect fit?

No technology guarantees a particular result. The restoration still requires clinical assessment, fit and bite checks, and adjustments when needed. Ongoing care and maintenance remain important.
